Data Cleansing
Data cleansing is the process of identifying and correcting (or removing) corrupt or inaccurate records from a database.
The process typically involves the following steps:
- Detect and remove redundant records
- Confirm the accuracy, completeness and validity of remaining records
- Update records with information received from external sources (Physical verification)
Upon completion of the data cleansing process, we include the most likely causes of corrupt or inaccurate records in our report.
